1. What we collect

gooutsidedog.com does not collect any personal information. We do not require an account or registration.

  • Your city name (typed or GPS) — used only to fetch weather, never stored on our servers.
  • Your dog breed selection — stored locally in your browser (localStorage).

2. GPS / Location

If you use GPS, your browser asks for permission. We only use the coordinate to find your city and fetch weather. No GPS coordinate is stored.

3. Third-party services

  • Open-Meteo — weather data.
  • OpenStreetMap / Nominatim / Overpass — place search and nearby parks.
  • Google Fonts — typography. Google may log font requests.

4. Cookies

We do not use cookies. Your preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage only.

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic anonymously (pages visited, country, device type). No personally identifiable data is sent. You can opt out below — your choice is saved locally.
